Responsibilities include:

  • Working with clients to create detailed models based on their needs, including identifying project goals, objectives, and constraints
  • Developing construction drawings and other design documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Communicating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are on the same page
  • Coordinating with other members of the BIM team to ensure that all components of the model are up to date
  • Creating 3D models of buildings using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit
  • Creating 2D drawings of building elements such as walls, columns, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical fixtures, etc. using architectural or engineering software packages
  • Creating 3D models of building components such as structural supports, stairs, railings, and columns
  • Developing drawings to show how construction will take place based on the design provided by architects or engineers
  • Using specialized computer applications to create virtual models of buildings and other structures

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Architecture / Civil & Structural/ Electrical & Mechanical
  • At least 2 Year(s) of relevant experience in C&S, Reinforcement/ Architectural/ Electrical & Mechanical BIM Models related projects
  • Well-versed in Revit
  • Able to complete models, and shop drawings in a timely and quality manner
  • Knowledge in Bently Open Building Designer, Dynamo will have an added advantage
